Bolzano/Bozen is South Tyrol's railway gateway on the Brenner line, with connections from Italy and the German-speaking area. There is no train from here to Cortina d'Ampezzo: a private transfer takes you straight from the station to your hotel with no changes, through entirely mountainous country.
There is more than one route between Bolzano and Cortina: over the Dolomite passes or, further north, along the Val Pusteria. The choice depends on the season, road conditions and the day's weather, which is why we do not quote fixed times.
The distance ranges from roughly 100 km to about 130 km depending on the route, with indicative times of 1.75–2.5 hours. In winter, or with snow and temporary closures, it can take longer: the route is assessed before departure.
Give your train number and arrival time in the form: the pickup is planned around the real timetable and the meeting point at the station is sent with the confirmation. Mention skis, boots or bulky luggage so the right vehicle can be arranged.
For the return, swap departure and destination in the form. If you have a train to catch, give its departure time: we will propose a pickup in Cortina with a sensible margin, allowing for the mountain road. The service runs 24 hours a day by reservation; any night surcharge, where applicable, is shown in the quote.
